My first experience with DOBA was extremely disappointing. After nearly 12 months of effort, I finally received my first sale, only to discover I could not use my business banking account to pay for the product due to banking/payment setup limitations within the platform.
For a service that charges multiple subscription and platform fees, I expected a much smoother onboarding and payment process. This created unnecessary friction at a critical moment for my business and significantly impacted my confidence in the platform.
Thank you for sharing your experience. First of all, congratulations on achieving your first sale—we understand how exciting that milestone is, which is why we're truly sorry that a payment setup issue affected such an important moment for your business.
We'd like to clarify that Doba supports multiple commonly used payment methods for both subscriptions and order purchases. In some cases, payment configuration may require additional verification or setup depending on the payment method being used. We understand this can be frustrating when you're eager to fulfill your first order, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.
Our support team is always happy to help review your payment setup and recommend the most suitable payment option so you can complete your orders smoothly. We also continue to improve our onboarding and payment experience to make the process more seamless for new sellers.

There are multiple nuances in order to facilitate product orders through this app such as knowing to and how to set shipping rates; understanding how to navigate exporting inventory lists; not realizing that limits on amount of inventory are set based on plan; in ability to have live support help and lack of inventory order terms where as the customer's order amount is due immediately well before payment is sent to the seller.
Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. We truly understand how frustrating it can be when the learning curve, system limitations, and support availability affect your ability to run your store smoothly — and we’re sincerely sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

THEIR PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS ARE HORRIBLE!
There has been an extreme decline in the quality of customer service offered by Doba.
I had a concern about their policies and both the customer service representative Ethan & their supervisor Hannah were extremely disrespectful, defensive and WRONG! Instead of admitting that they were not knowledgable of my request, they advised me incorrectly, and in an extremely unprofessional manner.
Having used Doba for over a year at this point, I was shocked at the level of customer service they now have.
I will not be using them again.
