We tried a few different free currency converter apps, and most of them were incompatible with our theme.

But when we reached out to the Hoppy Multi Currency Converter support team then took access to our backend and fixed the incompatibility issue that none of the other tools could do, and now we have a working automatic currency converter.

I recommend this app for someone who is looking for a free and reliable option. Best app so far.

It works and is one of the most elegant solutions out there. I didn't want to switch from Stripe to Shopify's payments system but I still wanted visitors to enjoy the comfort of shopping in their local/familiar currency. Hoppy is a clean, fast-loading solution that helped me achieve that, and I tried some others such as Beast Nova, and Bucks.

The tech support was fast and clear, too, and included screenshots.

Very easy to set up and has more placement options than other free apps. Customization options are also good. I got stuck when configuring but the help page was useful. It would be helpful to also have a guide for custom configuration using code because I couldn't figure that part out.
