I'm a developer and was going to write a simple app that lets me edit metafields without any BS. I didn't have to do it, because this handles it for me.

Had a problem when a customer name didn't have both a first and last name and they fixed the problem immediately. Very good service.

Update: I had to get the Pro plan to continue using the app as I intended, but I've not been able to edit and upload essential data for two days now because the app is down. I have yet to receive feedback from the developers.
Original: App developers removed the ability to add URLs as metafields in the free version. Now I'll have to uninstall because I can no longer use it.
There is going to be a release very very soon for adding and deleting metafields globally, so watch out this space for more.

Finally found a way to set custom fiels for the products! Coming from a more flexible tool like WordPress, Shopify feels very limited. With Metafields, one can finally customize the templates and make every product page different.
I do understand the limitations of the meta-fields to be only numeric or strings BUT this tool could have a wrapper to store multiple types like dates, even if they are just strings internally, but could help a lot with the administration of the products.
If that wrapper could be added, it would be a killer app! (and of course, have a 5 stars score)
So excited to share that we have added Dates field type in our Pro version of the app. Please go ahead and try it!! We would love to have a 5-star rating from you:)

I was able to export Metafields, but I couldn't get them to import which is why I installed the app in the first place. Exports are extremely slow, the progress bar has said it is 100% for at least half an hour for the export I just ran for just one order.
