We've been using Pixi Order Printer for a while now with proforma documents. The functionality far surpasses the standard Shopify Order Printer - from flexible template options to much clearer formatting.
What really sets Pixi apart is the quick and responsive support. Whenever we've had a question or needed a template tweak, the support team responded fast and helped us solve it right away - something that has made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
If you’re looking for an order printing solution that’s more robust and user-friendly than Shopify’s native tool, Pixi Order Printer is definitely worth it.
Very disappointing experience.
Everything started with a bug in THEIR standard template. The column titles were misaligned and did not match the corresponding information. We reported the issue and simply asked for the standard template to be corrected.
Instead, during their intervention, they converted our template into a custom template without informing us or requesting our approval. Because custom templates require a different subscription plan, invoices were no longer generated for our customers. We only discovered this after customers started reporting missing invoices.
The same situation has now happened twice. The first time, support acknowledged that it was their mistake and fixed it. Now it has happened again, and once more we are being told conflicting information despite the issue originating from changes made on their side.
This is not a user error. We never requested a custom template, and we were never warned that such a change was being made. As a result, our customers were unable to access their invoices, creating unnecessary disruption for our business.
For a business-critical service, making account changes without consent, breaking invoice generation, and failing to properly investigate recurring issues is simply unacceptable. We are now seriously considering moving to another solution.
I discovered this app because I wanted to set up automatic printing for Shopify orders. The template functionality of Pixi isn’t very advanced, but they have an extremely dedicated customer and technical team. Even before I subscribed to the paid plan, they manually coded a custom order template specifically for me. Thanks to the Pixi team’s efforts, I was able to achieve automated printing.
