You absolutely can set up a tiered pricing structure on your product page. What you’re looking for is a quantity break system where the price automatically adjusts based on how many units the customer selects.

This can be done in two ways depending on the platform.

Option one. Using a pricing or wholesale app that supports tiered discounts and dynamic price updates on the product page.

Option two. Custom coding the product template so the price changes automatically when the buyer chooses a quantity range for example 2 to 99 pieces at 2.50 each 100 to 4999 at 2.40 each and so on.

The key is that the layout must clearly show each tier the corresponding price and the discount must apply instantly when the customer adds items to the cart. That is exactly what Google and buyers expect on a wholesale style store.

If you want I can handle the entire setup for you. I can configure the tiered pricing structure design the layout so it looks clean and professional and ensure it works on both desktop and mobile. I can also integrate it with your cart logic so the correct price always applies automatically.

Just let me know your platform and I can implement it smoothly without breaking any existing design.

Shopify doesn’t natively do quantity-based pricing, but you can easily set it up using apps like Quantity Breaks or Bold Quantity Breaks. They let you set tiers like:

2–99 → $2.50

100–4999 → $2.40

5000–9999 → $2.30

≥10000 → $1.90

Custom code is possible but apps are way easier.

Hi @user0258 :waving_hand: to do this with only theme generally means multiple products stitched together to present as one, and or discounts to affect prices across quantity tiers.

Most merchants just cheap out and use an app for this.

Reach out if you need this built custom for you revenue.

Thank you veery much

thanks a lot, will check it out

You can easily do it with a built-for-Shopify app called Adoric Bundles and design it to a top level. Adoric Bundles quantity breaks - Boost BFCM with Bundles quantity selector & Quantity Breaks | Shopify App Store

Contact their support, they will help you right away

thanks, i will try it for sure.

You can’t create true quantity-based wholesale pricing with native Shopify settings because Shopify only supports one price per variant.

To build Alibaba-style tiered pricing, you have three realistic options:

1. Use an app

Apps like Bundler, Quantity Breaks or Wholesale Club let you display the pricing table on the product page and automatically adjust the cart price based on quantity.

This is the easiest and most stable option.

2. Shopify Plus with Shopify Functions

If you’re on Plus, you can create custom pricing logic for each quantity range using Functions.

Full control but requires a developer.

3. Custom theme coding

You can hard-code the pricing tiers in your product template and use discounts or scripts to apply the correct price in the cart.

Works, but more technical.

Most wholesale stores simply use an app because it stays stable during theme updates.

Hey @user0258

You can achieve this setup with the Quantity X app: QX ‑ Quantity Discount Price - Shopify Quantity Discount App: BOGO & Volume Deals | Shopify App Store this app is know for setting up the volume discounts.

Here’s how to do it:

The feature you can use: Volume Discount

Price setup: fixed price

Here’s how:

  1. Go to Quantity X → Create Offer and choose Volume Discount

  2. Select your preferred layout (List, Grid, or Choice List)

  3. Set Condition type to “Minimum quantity items” and choose Fixed price per item as your value type:

  4. Add your price tiers:
    • Tier 1: Buy 2+ → $2.50 each
    • Tier 2: Buy 100+ → $2.40 each
    • Tier 3: Buy 5000+ → $2.30 each
    • Tier 4: Buy 10000+ → $1.90 each

You can add as many tiers as you need:

This setup will automatically update cart prices when customers change quantities.

Hope this helps.

Cheers :sparkles::sparkles:

Hey,

Based on your requirements you’re offering Bundle offers. Shopify don’t change the price per item based on the Quantity. For this you need to use the native Shopify app. You can explore many of the Bundle apps by search the Bundle Keyword on the Shopify app store.

This way you can find the relevant app that you are exactly looking for.

Some of the apps listed below.

By using any of the app from above, you can fulfill your requirements.

If this was helpful, don’t forget to like it and mark as Solution.

Hey @user0258,

In order to offer the Price Discount based on the Quantity, then you’ve two options.

  1. You can either use the Shopify app. There are multiple Shopify apps that you can use for this purpose. Like Product Bundles, Bogo Bundles etc.
  2. Use Custom Code: With the help of custom code you can achive the Bundle offer or the product price based on the Quantity.

By following any of the solution above, you can achive the requesed feature.

If you need any other help, then let me know.

Hi @user0258,

To set up pricing tiers that match your expectations, I suggest using the BOGOS: Free Gift Bundle Upsell app.

With its volume discount feature, you can easily configure the pricing exactly the way you want.

Here’s an example:

Hi @user0258 :raising_hands:

For the requirement to create multiple price tiers based on quantity (wholesale / tiered pricing) displayed directly on the product page like in the example you shared, you can absolutely achieve this using Easify Product Options.

Here’s an example I’ve created so you can see how it works:

  • This is the result:

  • This is the app setting:

First, simply create your product and its options (such as size, quantity, purchase options, etc.) as usual in Shopify and in the Easify app. Once the product and options are set up, go to App Settings → Advanced Settings and enable Use Tiered Wholesale Pricing. Then, create a New Rule and apply this rule to the option set associated with that product.

In the tiered pricing setup, you can define quantity ranges such as 2–99, 100–4,999, 5,000–9,999, or 10,000+ units. In the demo I’m working on, I’m using Percentage as the discount type to display percentage-based discounts for each quantity tier.

However, for your specific use case (for example, pricing each unit at $2.50, $2.40, $2.30, or $1.90 depending on quantity), you can simply switch the Discount type to Fixed amount to set a fixed price for each quantity range instead of a percentage discount.

After saving the rule, the wholesale price tiers will be clearly displayed directly on the product page, making it easy for customers to see the benefits of purchasing in larger quantities. If you need further guidance during setup, you can reach out to the Easify team via the in-app live chat for additional support.:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

The simple way is remove the Quantity block from your product page, after that, you can add the variant name Qty or Quantity and add variations 2 - 99 pieces …

Shopify doesn’t have a built-in option for tiered/wholesale pricing on the product page like you see on Alibaba, so 99% of clients end up using an app because it’s way easier to manage and updates won’t break your setup the way custom scripts can. What i usually tell people is you need three things for smooth wholesale: the pricing tiers should show right on the product page, the right price must auto-apply as soon as quantity changes, and the whole thing has to work with your theme and cart flow. For actual implementation, i usually set clients up with Wholesale Whale—not the biggest name out there but it works really well and the pricing is way better than the popular ones. It does tag-based customer groups and you can create detailed quantity-based pricing rules that are super clear for buyers, plus the quick order form helps bulk clients breeze through. Apps are just more reliable for this than trying to hack together scripts or variants, especially if you update your store design later.
