App adding Custom Delivery Options

Hi everyone,
We are currently studying the development of an App allowing advanced Click & Collect features.
We would like to offer to our customers, a new shipping method in Checkout launching a custom store locator (via an iframe) calling our APIs and returning the user store selection.

• Is the Shopify Function Delivery Customization (https://shopify.dev/apps/checkout/delivery-customizations) the right way to do this?

• Are Custom Delivery Options available for non-Shopify Plus Customers?

Delivery customizations can hide a delivery option, but not add one. More information is available in the reference docs.

They are available for non-Plus customers via public apps.
