I currently run my content on Blogger (www.catfooduae.com) but I’m looking into opening a Shopify storefront for local delivery in Dubai. Has anyone successfully synced their Blogger RSS feed into a Shopify ‘Blog’ section without losing SEO metadata or Schema.org markup? I want to make sure my reviews keep their rich snippet star ratings.
My first question is have you planned to discard the original Blogger links？

but if you completely migrate the Blogger blog content to Shopify through RSS feed import (that is, the content is stored on Shopify, and the original Blogger page is taken down or no longer updated), then you need to set redirect url . The reason is that Shopify’s blog URL structure is fixed as yourstore.com/blogs/[blog-name]/[post-name], which is very different from Blogger’s URL format. If you do not set redirects, search engines will regard the original Blogger links and new Shopify links as two sets of independent content. This will not only lead to the loss of the original SEO ranking but also make the previously included review rich snippets invalid, resulting in the disappearance of star ratings in search results.
You might find this helpful PostBridge BlogSync & PageSync. It lets you sync blogs and pages across multiple Shopify stores while preserving all content, templates, and assets.
One small thought: I’d worry less about preserving the original review schema and more about rebuilding it around Shopify Products. From Google’s perspective, that’s a very different entity model than a Blogger post.

Honestly, the simplest and safest plan is to keep Blogger exactly as it is for your content and SEO. It is already working, so do not risk touching it.
Use Shopify purely for your storefront and local delivery orders in Dubai. The two can work side by side perfectly without interfering with each other.
If you do want your content inside Shopify later, use the app JSON-LD for SEO to add the star rating markup back in. But there is no rush to do this right now.
Keep what is working and just add Shopify on top!
