Can any app import restock dates from a CSV for preorders?

Hi All,

We are looking for an app for our store.

I’ve seen the Pre Order App’s available and can’t see any that do exactly what I want.

What I want is, to import the restock dates from a csv file. If the product quanitity is 0 and the restock date is set for the sku then, update the sku with the restock date and turn preorder on, showing the estimated restock date to the customer.

Is there any app that can do this?

We have too many products and can’t manually go through each product.

I am sure you won’t find a ready made app or solution which covers your needs by default. In this case, you need to find a Shopify development company that can develop a custom app or extend the functionality of a ready app to work for you. I can see you have marked this as solved but there is an app on the Shopify App Store that does this exact thing (https://apps.shopify.com/stockflow) might be worth checking out as the other options are to miss out or have to get something custom built at great expense when an off the shelf solution exist. Hope that helps!

Heres how to add your CSV in the app.

Once added then any product that goes out of stock will automatically be available as a pre order using the date you have set for the incoming stock.
