You don’t need third-party apps or extensions for this. What you need to do is create your product options (e.g., Surface) and variants (e.g., poster, black frame, white frame, etc.) and then add an image for each of these variants. Fortunately, Shopify comes with this feature built-in. Once you’ve set it up, on your storefront, the product images will automatically change when customers select different variants.
However, by default, Shopify only displays variants in simple styles, such as buttons. I noticed that your reference website showcases options using image swatches. To achieve this look, it’s possible that the theme used on that website supports displaying Shopify variants as image swatches. There are several themes that support this feature; you should explore them to find the one that best suits your needs.
