Hello, this is my first message, not sure if it’s on the right board.
I want to add the HS Code column to my product upload sheet. It is present on the inventory CSV but not the upload sheet. Adding them manually is very time consuming. Can i just add it to the far right of the upload CSV like with the Collections column?

HS Code is stored on inventory entity not products.
You can add HS Codes by export your inventory on Shopify admin it’s under Products → Inventory add HS Codes on the exported file and then push it back to shopify, your codes will be added to your variants.
I have tried what you stated here. This process did not add the HS codes.

States this:
“The import procedure updates and overwrites inventory quantities only. It doesn’t create a location or update the values that identify products.”
So is there a way to get the HS codes in my listing without installing an app or inputting the data manually into every individual listing?
UPDATE:
The import worked after I removed the location / qty column and heading from csv sheet.
