Can't find content of order confirmation email at all

My order confirmation email contains bank transfer information that I would like to change. I can’t find the content of the order confirmation email anywhere in the admin portal. The things I’ve tried so far:

  • the order confirmation template from the notifications templates isn’t utilized

  • there’s also additional content in “Online Store > Themes > Actions > Edit Languages”

  • the information isn’t hardcoded in the theme either

It’s a rather old theme from 2014. Can anyone help me identifying where that information is stored and how I can change it?

I’m having the same issue. I need to update business information that is being sent in customer order confirmation emails. I’ve contacted Shopify support twice and they find it “interesting” that they can’t find why it isn’t showing up in the code. Any help would be appreciated!
