I added text to the description on a collections page but the text isnt showing anywhere on the page. I swear I had this working before. Not sure if a previous dev messed something up. I want the text at the bottom under the items (I thought that is where it should show).
Do I have to ‘customize’ the template and add a text field there? or shouldn’t it show automatically?
I’m talking about the “Description” of the entire Collection, when you click on the collection in the admin backend, and you type up a full description, where is this text going?? I swear I’ve seen it before where I type that, and it goes at the bottom of the collection page under all the items (before the page numbers).
How do I get this text to show?? Shouldnt this be automatic?
We checked and found that description on your collection page has been removed/doesn’t exist, leaving only the description in the search engine. If you want to add it, please share your store access with us. We will check it for you.
Yes, I am aware of this that is why I am asking, I assume there is a specific Shopify-wide code that I can just put back into the theme? Just need to know what to type to get this to show. thanks
Because you use the theme from the outside, there is no way we can know exactly what the layout in your theme is (without store access). Also, since your theme has been modified before, we can’t understand where and how those changes are made if just looking at your site from the storefront.
