So ive been trying to customize a cursor for my website with scripts etc… I’m trying to have my custom cursor grow 25% and spin 360 on all hovers. been unsuccessful. I know the basic body { URL etc tce, but I don’t want basic, I want animated. Does anyone have a script that actually works that can be alter to what I want? i just need a base script that works. or is there a certain Shopify theme settings that might interfere with the implementation?

Hey @xnyjyh this is the great Question.
Adding the custom cursor into your store can be memorable for Desktop users. A bad cursor can make your visitor decision to leave your website, or a best cursor can make your website memorable for years. And this memory can leads the visitors to turn into Customer.
Even the 7-figure earner Lisa Says Gay Shopify store using Custom Cursor.
Shopify built in theme, by default don’t have the Custom Cursors. So you need to install the extension.
P.S: I am using Custom Cursor Shopify extension to add it into the website. Because adding custom cursor with the custom code cannot work for every theme. Custom Cursor extension offers 13 cursor including 3 animated cursors for free.
Your request is simple. It’s requires to add the Custom Cursor. Here is how you can add it.
- Install the Custom Cursor extension.
- Activate the extension.
- Select the Cursor from the library. It has 400+ cursors available.
- Click save and Publish.
You can also add your own Custom Cursor as well like Lisa says Gay did
.
In order to add the custom cursor you required to subscribe for Advanced Plan. After activation of the plan, you just need to click on Upload your own cursor. And upload the cursor which you want.
Quick Question, Which one cursor is your favourite from the library?
