Dawn Theme: Multi column custom code links not working

I was able to use custom code to change the multi column section of my Dawn theme to add a link button at the bottom of each column instead of just the one button on the standard code. However, I cannot get the outgoing links to work. The links will save in the editor and are there working when I test in the editor, but when I close and go to the live store the links are ghosted and not working. I used code I found here earlier to create the individual buttons for each column. It worked perfectly. Just can’t get the links to work. Any suggestions?
