Delete my customer account. Now

I bought something on someone’s website and got a shipment confirmation e-mail. I checked the e-mail and the ONLY way to view the shipment status is to DOWNLOAD the Shop app. First of all, that is so RUDE. Give me the option to view the shipment information without your app. After downloading, I cannot view the status without making an account. Okay, that is even more RUDE. What a bait and switch. I made an account to view the shipment status and the status is that the item hasn’t been shipped, so the automated Shopify e-mail was a LIE. Again, RUDE. Now that I have confirmed that I wasted my time, I try to find how to delete my account and I cannot. I tried talking to the stupid AI chatbot that kept lying to me or telling me to talk to a Support Agent, but would not let me talk to a human. Okay, rude, again. But, then it told me that I cannot delete my account and kept trying to tell me to delete my Store or Collab. I do not have those and do not know how to do those.

I don’t know about you, but GDPR and other privacy laws specify that users must be allowed to delete their accounts. Your help and support documentation outlines some ways to delete different parts of personal data, etc, but, still, there is no specific set of steps for how I can delete my account.

This is my formal request that you delete my account, now. No, I am not asking for how I can delete it. I am telling you to delete my account, so follow the law and fulfill this request. Do NOT reply telling me how to delete my personal information or tell me that the app is useful for tracking my shipment. I want my account to be in the exact same state as it was before I ever clicked the link to download your stupid app.
