Looking for other members that have integrated the Faire app with their shopify account. I’ve read the reviews and saw there were issues with syncing inventory. Is this still an ongoing issue or has this been resolved? Also, has anyone using the integration used it for inventory sync only while maintaining product images separately between the two platforms? If so, how has it worked out for you? Just looking to get some insight from other Faire users on how the integration is working for them and any suggestions for setting up, before i jump into it.
I tried the Faire app about a year ago, but it lacked in so many areas that I ditched it. Even talked with the guy responsible for the app at Faire as well and got kinda blown off about what I needed as a retail store from them.
Anyway, that caused me to build our own app that is now on Shopify’s app store as well. We use a browser extension to read Faire’s Order page and Invoice page (because they are slightly different) with a single click and translate that into a Purchase Order in FyreTrail. The products you bought in Faire then seamlessly integrate into Shopify. You should check it out and see if it works good for you as well. AND… because it’s what we use when we order from Faire, you’ll know it’s always kept up to date.
Ok, so that plug aside, I have heard from a local user that Faire’s app does allow you to integrate your products into Shopify so it’s very possible that it’s working a lot better than it was a year ago, but when I went and looked at the reviews it seems it may be struggling still.
