I don’t think the store is doing badly or obviously broken. The Christmas theme is clear, the categories are easy to understand, and the personalised decorations are a strong point of differentiation.
One area I would focus on is trust. The About page mentions working with multiple suppliers and fulfilment partners, but there isn’t much yet that tells visitors who is behind the store, where the products are made, or what the business looks like.
You could consider adding real workshop photos, customer reviews, customer photos or unboxing content, business details, and a clearer estimated delivery window for each product. You could also add more forms of social proof across the homepage and product pages to strengthen the brand and make the business feel more established. This is especially important for first-time visitors coming from Facebook or Instagram ads.
I also ran a mobile speed test. The homepage performed noticeably worse than the product and collection pages, with an LCP of around 7.2 seconds. The podcast embed, hero images, fonts and third-party scripts may all be worth optimising or loading later.
I wouldn’t assume that the previous domain history is the only reason you haven’t had any sales. The site currently has a robots.txt file, sitemap, canonical URLs and product structured data, so the basic SEO foundation is not bad. However, because the domain was previously used by someone else, I would recommend checking Google Search Console for Manual Actions, URL Inspection results, the number of submitted versus indexed pages, and whether any old URLs are redirecting incorrectly.
One other thing I noticed is the stylish audio and podcast players on the homepage. You could perhaps explore ways to make the podcast experience more convenient, such as adding a persistent or floating player that stays available while visitors browse. It may also be worth looking through the Shopify App Store, as there are apps specifically designed for podcast, music and audio players.
To keep it simple, my main suggestions would be:
- Add more real reviews, customer photos and trust information.
- Improve the homepage’s mobile loading speed.
- Make the podcast or music listening experience more convenient.
- Use more social proof to make the brand feel established and trustworthy.
