How can I create a mega menu for my site using Dawn without coding?

Hi Community,

I need to create a mega menu for the shop section of my site: https://www.muthapuppa.com/

I’d also like the mega menu to open when you hover over Shop.

I have no coding ability. Is it better to use an app and if so, which is the best one?

Or is there a way of doing this without code on Dawn that I’m not aware of?

Help would be very appreciated.

Nice site!

Dawn does not have a mega menu function built-in. Yes, you can use an app, but I’d really recommend you don’t go that route. An app will slow your site down more, and add unneeded ongoing costs. Custom code is the way to go, a one time fee that, if done correctly, won’t slow the site down.

Hire a Shopify Expert by posting a job there, they will eat this up fast. We’re also a Shopify agency, but we’re in the US.

You can follow these steps with Dawn theme:

  1. Go to Online Store->Theme->Customize

2.Chose Header > Menu type > Chose megamenu

Hi GenPages, thanks for these instructions. Here’s a screenshot. Unfortunately, I don’t have this option.

Thanks for the response and glad you like muthapuppa.

Based on that feedback, custom seems like the right choice, which is what I feared. We don’t really have the budget. Trying to rescue dogs and all. Giuseppe
