Hi! I need a middleware that can connect Shopify and Dynamics 365. The must-have function we require is the ability to match products created in Dynamics 365.
If this is something that can work with your tool, please contact me to show a demo! Thank u!
It seems to have everything: product creation from Dynamics 365, prices, automatic customer creation, orders, integrated accounting, and easy installation…
Strong team supporting this, they fully understand D365 Finance, very helpful in guiding the Sales team in what would be the best approach to sync data.
Connecting Shopify with Dynamics 365 can be done in a few ways, depending on what you need. Microsoft’s native connector works well if you’re using Business Central and need simple syncing of products and orders. For more complex setups, third-party tools like Celigo or DBSync provide extra flexibility, especially for advanced features. But if you’re looking for something easy and no-code, Skyvia is a solid option. It automates the sync between Shopify and Dynamics 365 with a simple interface, saving you time on manual tasks.
You canintegrate Shopify with Dynamics 365 to automatically sync your orders, products, inventory, and customer information. This setup keeps your store and back-office systems in sync, reduces manual data entry, and ensures your reporting and operations remain accurate. Many tools offer a no-code or low-code interface to simplify the connection, so you can focus on running your business instead of managing data manually.
I work on Shopify and Dynamics 365 Business Central integrations, and I have already integrated Shopify with Business Central using the official Microsoft connector. In most cases, that is the best starting point.
You can install the official Shopify app here:
Then set up the Shopify connector/extension inside Business Central. This YouTube series is also very helpful for the setup process:
If you have advanced requirements or any limitations with the official connector, those can be handled using Shopify APIs and Business Central APIs with custom development.
Tools like Skyvia, Celigo, or other middleware can also work, but they can be expensive. If your store has enough revenue and you need a no-code/low-code setup, they may be worth it. Otherwise, I would recommend starting with the official Microsoft connector first.
