How can I manually code a section into my outdated theme?

Hi,

I am using an outdated theme on Shopify for my website and do not have the option to ‘Add Section’ on some pages like my ‘Contact Us’ and ‘About Us’ page. I know this can be done through code, but could someone please explain the step by step process for this?
