How to activate minimum spend for free delivery?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to set up a minimum spend threshold for free delivery in my Shopify store, but I’d like to do this without using a paid app if possible. Is there a way to configure this directly in Shopify’s settings, or perhaps through a bit of custom code?

For example:

  • Free delivery for orders over £80
  • Standard delivery fees below that threshold

Any guidance would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Yes, You can set the shipping rate based on the order spend condition by default using Shopify shipping setup.
Go to the settings → Shipping and delivery → General Shipping profile

When you add the rate, Click on this add condition pricing https://prnt.sc/vlX9ib3cyVeK Choose Based on order price and set 80 in minimum spend like attached screenshot for Free shipping.

For Standard Shipping you can set it like this https://prnt.sc/KU8oWjF2PUIt

So if the order price is $79.99 or below it display the Standard shipping rate and if $80 and above then display free Shipping rate.
