How to create Shopify domain can anyone explain please suggest better solution for my question

Go to your Shopify Admin →Settings → Domains
Click Buy new domain
search for desired domain
If available, purchase it
Shopify will automatically connect the domain to your store.

To create a Shopify domain you have 3 options:

  1. Free Shopify domain
  • When you create a store, Shopify gives you a free domain like:
    yourstorename.myshopify.com
  • Good for testing but not professional.
  1. Buy a domain through Shopify
  • Go to Settings → Domains → Buy new domain.
  • Shopify will register and connect it automatically.
  • Example: yourstore.com
  1. Connect a domain you already own (from GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google, etc.)
  • In your domain provider, update the DNS:
    • Point A record → Shopify’s IP (23.227.38.65)
    • Point CNAME → shops.myshopify.com
  • Then in Shopify, go to Settings → Domains → Connect existing domain.

Better solution: If you don’t already own a domain, buy it directly in Shopify for easy setup. If you already have one, just connect it via DNS.

Hi here’s how you can create a domain for your Shopify store:

Option 1 – Buy a Domain Directly from Shopify (Quickest & easiest)

1. Go to your Shopify admin panel.

2. Click Settings → Domains.

3. Select Buy new domain.

4. Search for your desired name, choose an available one, and purchase it.

5. Shopify will automatically connect it to your store.

Option 2 – Connect an Existing Domain from Another Provider (If you already own one)

1. Buy a domain from providers like GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains.

2. In Shopify, go to Settings → Domains → Connect existing domain.

3. Enter your domain name.

4. Update the DNS settings in your domain provider account to point to Shopify’s servers:

A Record: 23.227.38.65

CNAME: shops.myshopify.com

5. Save and verify the connection in Shopify.

Tips for Choosing a Good Domain:

Keep it short and memorable.

Avoid numbers or hyphens.

Match it with your brand name or niche keywords.

If you want a easier way to buy a domain then Shopify sell domain names itself.
Please follow these steps to but the domain.
Go to Shopify Admin >> Settings >> Domains
Here is the domain section click on Buy a New Domain then search for the desired domain name that is available. After that make the payment and purchase it. Payment will be add to Shopify billing which you will be able to pay after a month or with the future billing.
