We have an existing system that uses Oauth.
We have customer data in it.
I want to create a new e-commerce site using shopify, but I want to use the customer data from the existing system for single sign-on.
I’ve looked into the Multipass API as a solution, but what should I do if I’m using Oauth?
If anyone has any advice, please let me know.
Hi Rikuto,
There is a solution available which you can find here. Using the miniOrange Shopify Single Sign On app I could integrate SSO with my OAuth Server and login to my Shopify Store successfully.
miniOrange provides SSO solutions for both Shopify Non-Plus and Plus versions. They provide Shopify SSO with any capable identity provider supporting the standard Authentication Protocols like OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, Open ID, JWT, LDAP etc.
They have provided a suitable Single Sign On (SSO) solution. Our customers haven’t faced any sign-on problem till today. They also have a high level of security policy by configuring MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). You can check out their Single Sign On - SSO Login App available on the Shopify Appstore.
