I am setting up my Shopify account and have worked through all the tasks. However, when I click on Settings → Set up Shopify Payments, I have this message “Shopify Payments is almost ready to go. You just need to provide a few details to start getting paid for your sales.” I’ve been through all the steps multiple times and don’t see any obvious place where I have failed to provide the requested details. I did set up two step authentication on both the laptop and mobile app. I’m at a loss and have hit a wall, can someone help? thank you!
Hey, [email removed]MrsG! Welcome to Shopify Community!
I understand you’re experiencing an issue while trying to set up your Shopify Payments account. I would love to help you with it!
For me to assist you effectively, I need to have a better understanding of the issue at hand. Do you mind sharing a screenshot of the error message you’re seeing, so I can take a closer look and find a solution?
Before you reply and share the screenshot, I recommend performing local troubleshooting as it may resolve the issue. Please feel free to perform each step below and try to complete the setup after going through each one.
Try a different web browser, as well as an incognito window or private browsing window to rule out any browser issues. If you are still experiencing the error using incognito, confirm you have disabled browser extensions as these can change how the pages look.
[email removed]MrsG Thanks for getting back to me and going through those local troubleshooting steps, Bonnie! This screenshot is very helpful and is all I need here.
Your Shopify Payments account is actually good to go. We see a check mark on that step in the setup guide, so it means you’ve successfully set up Shopify Payments. As long as you did the steps that are outlined in this guide and there is no indication in the Settings > Payments page that Shopify Payments has not been set up, you can now start taking orders and payments. I recommend doing a test order to check if your checkout is running smoothly.
