I’m wanting to completely shut down my shopify account for the time being because I just can’t afford it, not even at the “pause site” price. I would eventually like to start my shop again in the future, and was wondering if I can download my theme (dawn) and csv files of my current store, shut it down completely and then when I’m ready to come back just re-upload the same theme I’m using as well as all my current products to save me time in building and setting up my site all over again. Is that possible?

You can find out what information can be backed up via CSV in our Help Center here: Shopify Help Center | Backups and duplication. A few areas, like navigation menu, can’t be exported for backup.
Stores that are closed are generally recoverable within 24 months of the original closure. It’s important to note that Shopify is an as-is service, while your store data is recoverable within those 24 months we are not a data backup service. We cannot guarantee that all information will be fully recovered after that period of time. We always recommend having a backup at all times, just to be safe.
