We have been taken off google merchant all of a sudden after doing some SEO and also adding some of the new drop ship items to our site. Is there something that we may have done in the copy that might be flagging with Google that may violate their terms without realising as we had all our products listed fine for months beforehand. thanks!

I believe that adding dropshipping items is the likely trigger. Google aggressively flags stores for “Misrepresentation” if you use duplicate images or descriptions from suppliers, or if your inventory control seems unclear.
Regarding your SEO copy, check for promotional text. You cannot include phrases like “Free Shipping,” “Best Seller,” “Buy Now,” or all-caps text in your Product Titles or Descriptions. These fields must be strictly factual.
Finally, ensure your Shipping Policy matches reality. If your site generally promises “3-5 day delivery” but the new dropship items take longer, and this isn’t explicitly clear at checkout, Google views this as false advertising.
