Iโm figuring out my workflow using the cli tool.
I understand that I can make changes to my dev store online in my partner account and then pull these changes to my local directory using the cli. I pull from the live theme in this case. This works fine.
When I run the theme pull command I am presented with an option to pull from the live theme or a Development theme. I am not clear on what this Development option is pulling from. The options are listed like this:
? Select a theme to pull from (Choose with โ โ โ, filter with โfโ)
- Dawn-Live [live]
- Development (xxxxxx-Imaris-MBP-2) [development] [yours]
As far as I understand, when I am running the theme server and making changes to my local files, those files are updated in my browser view of the temporary dev store. While my theme is being served locally, I cannot make changes in the browser editor and pull these changes to my local files. The locally served dev store is deleted when I stop the server, so what is this option to pull from the Development version when I do a theme pull? I chose it and some changes did occur to my file. I want to understand what is going on there.
