Much like the title of this topic, my shopify order confirmation email is still sending default template after editing notification code. I am going nuts…can someone hlep me please?
Unfortunately, if you have verified the code is changed, and have done the usual steps like different browser/clear cache, there’s not much anyone can tell you. You’ll have to contact Support.

Like Maximus said, you are going to have to contact Support. However, doing a double check can never hurt right?
First, you can verify you are editing the correct file. It is very common to accidentally edit the “New order” template (which is sent to staff) instead of the “Order confirmation” template (which is sent to customers) found under Settings > Notifications.
Additionally, if you have any email marketing apps installed like Klaviyo or OrderlyEmails, check their settings; they may be suppressing Shopify’s native emails to send their own version, rendering your Liquid code edits useless.
