Shopify - QuickBooks Desktop Connector - Account Mapping Issue

I’m going through the painful process of migrating from QB POS to Shopify. I’m at the QB Desktop integration step using the QB Connector, and trying to map the various Chart of Accounts accounts to Sales, COGS, etc. and have hit an odd issue.

The drop-down list for selecting a mapping to COGS is empty - the connector does not seem to be able to find any of the COGS accounts in QB despite there being several active accounts there so I would expect this drop down to be populated with those. The other account types are present/selectable. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be? Without being able to make this selection, the integration cannot continue.

I’ve managed to solve this issue by closing/restarting QB and doing a reboot of the server.

We have had the exact same problem…..since October 3. I am leaving Shopify.
