I run a very succesful e-commerce store, recently my store has been frozen, saying our bills were not processed. We have tried 4 different credit cards (all working, all top banks in India and UPI) and they have not worked. We have approved mandates and international charges, have talked to at least 10-12 shopify reps all saying billing isn’t in their control and redirecting us to the banks, we have shared screenshots of bank approvals given and still no support. Not expected from something as big as shopify, customer care is nothing but emotional support with no real power, please see the conversations below.
As a small succesful business owner this has costed me over 6000 USD in sales, will look to pivot to another e-commerce aggregator. Such service with such billing is abhorred to say the least.
