This is more of a public question to the Subscription API team @ Shopify than the community.
How can those building analytics apps be able to report on ALL subscriptions and not just those “owned” by an app once the Subscription API is available.
Currently the answer I received from support was this is just not possible. Partner apps can only read subscriptions they themselves created. This effectively makes them ( and Shopify ) the only ones being able to create reports or do any kind of analytics on the subscriptions.
Would love to hear if there is a plan to support a scope where “all” subscriptions can be read or if there is some other way through the API that reporting apps can see information on subscriptions for orders.
