Here’s a roadmap that I think could help you learn quickly:

Learn Shopify’s liquid templating language, how themes works and basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Then, try to learn about Theme Development - Shopify’s Dawn theme, build custom themes and practice modifying existing ones. Next, you can learn REST & GraphQL APIs, and start building simple private apps using Node.js or Ruby on Rails.
