Trying to make new entrepreneurial friends

Hi everyone,

Not sure where I could’ve posted this, however, I’m a new entrepreneur and I’ve been having a difficult time connecting with other entrepreneurs. My hope is to meet others to share ideas but also offer mutual support during the highs and lows of entrepreneurship. I’m loyal, a great listener and problem solver. I genuinely feel that mutual support is a key ingredient in success and I know I would benefit from it because I generally work in isolation for most of the day while developing new products for my shop.

I’m based in Canada–Toronto to be exact; and always looking to meet new people and forge genuine friendships. Not sure if this will be well received or reciprocated but I thought why not give it a try.

If you have any tips for me on how to meet other small business owners I’d love to hear your feedback. It would be a great help to me and anyone else who may come across this thread.

The key is to be active and continue searching. Engage in conversations (if you have the time) and ask for feedback. To be honest this is a jungle, and unless you are active is gonna be hard to increase your social skills. We are base in Spain and are having some issues with our sites… Anyway I love your Country (although the past year has change from night to day). Thanks so much for the tip! I appreciate it. I’m always actively trying to meet other entrepreneurs, But it’s ok, I’ll stay persistent.

This may be a simple question but how does one “add” someone on Shopify forum? Furthermore, how is Spain? I’ve never been but I’ve always wanted to go. Probably will some day soon.
