Someone, PLEASE help me before I pull all of my hair out. My Main Menu is giving me trouble. My main menu items are Home, Our Story, Products, Collections, Contact, FAQ’s. I created Pages for my Our Story link and for the FAQ’s link and had them adequately linked to their corresponding page in the Navigation section and didn’t include any tags. Whenever I work on one page in the customize theme space, the other page adopts what I did so that FAQ’s will look like my Our Story page and vice versa. Why is this happening?! I’ve tried to delete the sections and start fresh and that didn’t work. I’ve tried making the actual Page section invisible and put in the info manually and that didn’t help either. Idk what to do. Every time I work on one section and preview my site and refresh, it ALWAYS applies the changes I just mentioned, if I worked on Our Story and saved it, the saved changes are applied to Our Story AND FAQ’s. If I work on FAQ’s and save my changes, the changes are applied to FAQ’s AND Our Story making it look like I have a duplicate page. PLEASE HELP!

Okay, so I found a solution to this problem. I reached out to Shopify support through their chat feature and talked with a very helpful Shopify team member, HUGE shoutout to Mark Layante, you’re the MVP!!! I’ll share what he said to me -
The reason why the changes you’ve made on the Our story page on the Theme editor is being applied on the Theme Editor is because if you take a look at your Pages from the admin. Both pages are using the Default Page templates: (he inserted photo examples of my site here. the photo highlighted a section in the Pages area. If you go into a Page that you created, there should be a box on the right that says Online Store and Theme Template which should have a dropdown that includes template options including Default Template and there’s text underneath the dropdown saying “Assign a template from your current theme to define how the page is displayed”), I then asked if there was another option besides the Default Template to which he replied, Yes, If you want each page to have its own page editor where the changes will be saved only to a specific page then I suggest for you to go inside your Theme editor and create your specific templates for each pages. Click the drop down on the top center > click Pages > Create template to make this happen:

I went ahead and did what was instructed and it solved my copying issue! Hope this helps others experiencing this issue!
Yes I found this as well. Had to figure it out myself last night. But I also notice in the page editor on top left it says “link to” or similar and that also needs to be updated.
I’m still sometimes finding myself in a loop of refreshing the page editor/template, previewing the site, and saving the pages in the page section. Sometimes I update the link in the page section and save. Then go back and it’s switched to default again.
