Why is my checkout button not working properly?

Hi there,

I’ve just discovered my shopify checkout button does not seem to be working in some instances. The checkout button does not seem to work (only refreshes the page), but customers can checkout with shop pay and apple pay from the pop-up when they add items to cart.

Can anyone assist? Many thanks.
