I looked at my bank account and i seen a $39.00 charge to my card for some kind of shopify account that is no longer active! The account hasnt been active for around a year or so now. I would like a refund

Based on your situation, it sounds like you may not have successfully closed this older Shopify Account of yours as needed. If you still have access to the account, try logging into it, and then follow these steps to make sure it’s closed as needed.
Once you’ve double-checked to make sure your store is closed, go to our Help Center. From there, login to your account, and let our AI Assistant know that you would like to have these new charges looked into, and that you would like to request a refund for the charge. Our Support Team will be able to assist you with looking into the charge, and will go over potential refund options with you.
I’ve had the same problem for months and the amount charged is the exact same amount as you. They’ve charged me multiple times and i’ve spent countless hours with support trying to get it resolved but they just give you the runaround and disregard anything you say and even refuse to let you speak to a supervisor. I’ve probably been through at least 10 different support people, some multiple times.
