For the last several months, Shopify has not been charging taxes on our taxable merchandise, despite it being setup to charge tax in our state. Has any one else had a similar problem? When it was first setup, taxes were charged no problem.
I would recommend checking your tax settings for the specific products. Go into a product’s settings (admin > products > click into a product), and then within the ‘pricing’ section for the product (or variant), make sure the box for “charge tax on this product” is checked. Repeat this for all of your products/variants (you can do a CSV export + import to bulk change these, if you have a lot of products).
