# ListDatasetVersions

 Lists all published versions of a dataset, sorted by version number descending (newest first). Does not include the DRAFT working copy.

## URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

 ** [datasetId](#API_ListDatasetVersions_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="bedrockagentcorecontrol-ListDatasetVersions-request-uri-datasetId"></a>
 The unique identifier of the dataset.   
Pattern: `[a-zA-Z0-9_-]{1,110}`   
Required: Yes

 ** [maxResults](#API_ListDatasetVersions_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="bedrockagentcorecontrol-ListDatasetVersions-request-uri-maxResults"></a>
 The maximum number of versions to return per page.   
Valid Range: Minimum value of 1. Maximum value of 100.

 ** [nextToken](#API_ListDatasetVersions_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="bedrockagentcorecontrol-ListDatasetVersions-request-uri-nextToken"></a>
 The token for the next page of results.

This exception is thrown when a resource referenced by the operation does not exist  
HTTP Status Code: 404

 ** ThrottlingException **   
This exception is thrown when the number of requests exceeds the limit  
HTTP Status Code: 429

 ** ValidationException **   
The input fails to satisfy the constraints specified by the service.  
HTTP Status Code: 400
