Managing your shipping performance on the Shopify Collective sales channel
You can monitor your shipping performance with Shopify Collective, take recommended actions with Sidekick to make improvements in your fulfillment and delivery, and earn a Verified tracking badge that displays to Collective retailers.
You can view the following actionable insights for your shipping performance as a Shopify Collective supplier:
- Carrier-verified shipments: Tracks the percentage of your orders that have a valid tracking number from a Shopify-supported shipping carrier.
- On-time fulfillment: Tracks the percentage of your orders that are dispatched within 96 hours of a customer making the purchase.
- On-time delivery: Tracks the percentage of your orders that are delivered to the customer within 10 days of a purchase being made.
If you reach 90% or above for the Carrier-verified shipments metric for a consistent period of time, then your store gets a Verified tracking badge. The badge is displayed to retailers in their Shopify Collective app and on your retailer invitation profile, as a trust signal that highlights your strong and reliable shipping performance as a Collective supplier.

Understanding carrier-verified shipments and verified tracking
Orders that are fulfilled with a tracking number from a Shopify-supported carrier are counted as carrier-verified. If you ship with a tracking number from a carrier that's not yet supported, or if an order gets cancelled, then those orders don't count towards your carrier-verified shipments rate.
To improve your Carrier-verified shipments performance and earn the Verified tracking badge, you might be prompted by Sidekick to take any of the following actions:
- Use shipping labels from Shopify-supported shipping carriers.
- Use a third-party logistics provider that integrates with a Shopify-supported shipping carrier, through Shopify Fulfillment Network or another fulfillment service.
When you use any of these options, your order tracking data, such as carrier scan confirmation and delivery confirmation, is verified automatically, which in turn acts as a signal of your improved shipping reliability as a Collective supplier.
If you reach 90% on the performance progress bar for Carrier-verified shipments, and you maintain that performance for a consistent period of time, then you get the verified tracking badge. You get an email when your store earns the badge.
If your carrier-verified shipments drop back below 90% for a consistent period of time, then you lose the verified tracking badge, and any retailers that you're connected with are notified in their Shopify Collective app. You get an email message with steps to help you bring your carrier-verified shipments rate back above 90% and regain the badge.
When you get back to 90% or above for carrier-verified shipments for a consistent period of time, then your verified tracking badge is automatically restored, and any retailers that you're connected with are notified in their Shopify Collective app.
