Pembayaran Debit Langsung Gedung Penjelasan Automatik (Automated Clearing House, ACH) untuk pesanan B2B

Automated clearing house (ACH) payments are a direct debit payment method for Shopify Payments. This payment method is available to customers with a United States bank account when paying for B2B orders. When a customer selects ACH Direct Debit as their payment method, they need to authenticate their bank account to verify the payment. It can take up to 4 business days to receive confirmation of success or failure. ACH Direct Debit is a non‑guaranteed payment method, so payment failures and disputes may occur.

ACH Direct Debit customer experience

ACH Direct Debit displays as a payment option during the checkout process for B2B orders.

ACH Direct Debit bank payments begin with the customer authenticating their bank account through a secure interface. This lets the customer link their bank accounts and share financial data with your business. Only customers with access to their bank account details and the ability to authenticate them can link their bank account and make the payment. After successfully linking their bank account, the customer can select the linked bank account at checkout to complete their purchase.

Customers also have an option to select a checkbox to vault their bank account information at checkout. When a customer vaults a bank account, they agree to a mandate and give permission for that bank account to be used for quicker future checkouts and future orders such as draft orders. ACH Direct Debit rules require that the customer gives authorization for you to debit their bank account. Make sure you have the necessary approvals from your customer when creating a draft order and debiting a vaulted bank account.

ACH Direct Debit transaction failures

ACH Direct Debit is a non‑guaranteed payment method and payment failures can occur for reasons such as insufficient funds or a customer turning off debits from their bank account.

If a ACH Direct Debit fails, then you're charged a $4 USD fee by Shopify.

Customer disputes and complaints

Customers can dispute ACH Direct Debit transactions through their bank for up to 60 calendar days, or in some cases after the 60-day period depending on their bank. You can view any open disputes on the Orders page.

When you receive an ACH Direct Debit dispute, Shopify collects evidence and sends it to the customer’s bank on the due date. Before Shopify sends the response, you can add additional evidence in the Shopify admin.

Dispute outcomes are decided by the customer's bank and might result in a chargeback. Shopify can't influence or revert this decision. ACH Direct Debit disputes are final and there is no process for appeal. If the customer's bank decides that the dispute is valid, then a chargeback is performed and you are charged a $15 USD fee.

As a merchant accepting ACH Direct Debit payments, you're responsible for handling all customer complaints and concerns directly. You need to respond promptly to customer inquiries and work to resolve issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
